SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Imagine having some extra help at your next hospital visit, navigating the parking lot and not having to walk to the door. CoxHealth is making this a reality with its golf cart shuttle program.
CoxHealth posted on Facebook the program has already made more than 2,800 trips since its launch on May 19th.
Two carts are operating right now, shuttling patients and visitors directly from the parking lot to the door. One is located at Cox South campus, covering the West Tower, Emergency Department, West Pavilion, Turner Center and, when needed, the North entrance.
The other covers the Meyer Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Hospital, including all entrances at that facility and the Med South Building…
