Springfield cannabis manufacturing facility has license revoked

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — The Missouri Division of Cannabis Regulation (DCR) has stripped C & C Manufacturing in Springfield of its license after DCR says the facility committed numerous violations, such as using unregulated THC in its products.

DCR says C&C violated the state’s cannabis regulations by transporting its marijuana products outside the state of Missouri, selling marijuana products that came from outside Missouri, using chemically modified cannabinoids in its marijuana products, improperly destroying its marijuana products and records, and more.

On Aug. 8, 2024, C & C Manufacturing, LLC, was the subject of a public recall of its marijuana products after DCR said C&C included THC from unregulated cannabis in its products, which is known as inversion, according to DCR.

A prior release did not note any reported adverse reactions to the products, but stated the products were not properly tested and are a potential threat to public safety…
