SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — An investigation into a shooting in downtown Springfield has led to federal charges for a Sedalia man.
The Western District of Missouri says Kenkori Lenell Grant, Jr., 23, is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm.
Grant is accused of possessing the pistol used in the shooting despite his prior felony convictions. Springfield police allegedly observed surveillance footage of Grant hiding the pistol under a nearby car the night of the shooting…
