SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A former deputy for the Greene County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) was arrested in June for allegedly stalking and intimidating a victim multiple times over several years.
Joseph Schilling, 34, is charged with first-degree stalking and unlawful use of a weapon. Schilling is being held in the Greene County Jail with no bond.
The victim told law enforcement that Schilling had emotionally abused her multiple times over several years. Court documents stated that Schilling would be mean to her pets and hurt them to disturb her. In one instance, Schilling took her dogs to Aurora and killed them, slitting a dog’s throat when the initial gunshot wound did not kill the animal…
