Dental care expansion at Jordan Valley Community Health Center

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Jordan Valley Community Health Center is expanding its reach for dental care services in Southwest Missouri. Jordan Valley has completed phase one of the Kingsley Clinic expansion project, which increases the number of dental chairs from four to 17.

The remodel at the Kingsley Clinic focuses on providing a space for patients with special needs to receive the dental care they need in a comfortable environment catered to their needs.

“For some of our patients who have some sensory processing disorders, we have Bose headphones that are noise-canceling that they can use,” said Dr. Shannon White, a Pediatric Dentist with Jordan Valley. “Our waiting room is going to be sensory-friendly. So from having bubble walls to fiber optic carpet to things that our patients can touch and feel and really integrate into their appointment.”
