SPRINGFIELD, MO – People with storm debris piles will be waiting even longer for a pickup by city crews.
Following the storms earlier this summer, the city scheduled a volunteer workday on July 24th. Community members collected branches and limbs and placed them at the curb. Public Works crews were then set to begin a citywide sweep, collecting and hauling off the limbs and branches.
The first round of the pick-up process, covering council Zone One, is set to begin August 11th, with the other segments of the city being focused on in subsequent weeks…
