Republic Intermediate School set for grand opening Monday

REPUBLIC, Mo — The newest school building in the Republic School District is set to welcome students and families for a tour Monday, Aug. 11.

From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. the building at 3879 E. Leadership Drive, Brookline, MO will be open for the community to come and see the new site that will be the home of 5th and 6th graders. A ribbon cutting will take place at 5 p.m. followed by self-guided tours and activities.

Later this week on Thursday, Aug. 14 a “Meet The Team” night will be held for students to meet their teachers. Families can participate in an orientation at that time.

The building was paid for by the no-tax rate increase bond issue voters passed in April 2023. In April 2024, Chris Stallings was announced as the school’s principal. Following that, the school announced Leanne Gove and Miranda Hagin-Schaefer as Assistant principals…
