Plea deals reached in Aurora bowling alley fight case

UPDATE:

LAWRENCE CO., Mo. — Two people charged in a fight outside the Aurora bowling alley last year reached a plea deal in the case.

Earlier today, Ashley Ryan, 26, of Springfield, reached an Alford plea to eight counts of third-degree assault. That means Ryan isn’t pleading guilty to the charges, but acknowledges there’s likely enough evidence to convict her.

As part of the plea deal, Ryan will serve five years of supervised probation, must complete 200 hours of community service and must complete anger management treatment starting within 45 days.

Late this afternoon, Gabriel Olvera, 31, of Aurora also reached an Alford plea to first and third degree assault. He will also serve five years of supervised probation and must complete 200 hours of community service…
