SPRINGFIELD, MO – A brand new building that looks like it could be part of the past is taking shape on Commercial Street.
The Sankofa development is being constructed at the intersection of Commercial St. and Campbell Ave. on a formerly vacant lot. The four-story structure will include 42 affordable housing units. The ground floor will include five retail spaces.
