SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — City Utilities (CU) announced the completion of its 48-inch water main project, which has been 26 years in the making.
The water main, an over 11-mile pipeline, will help deliver more water to the Blackman Water Treatment Plant, City Utilities’ largest water treatment plant. CU says this new line will lead to more reliability and transmission capacity to the community’s water supply.
