MARSHFIELD, Mo. — Marshfield Police Department Chief Doug Fannen told Ozarks First that the heavy police presence seen on E. Madison St. earlier today was the result of a murder-suicide.
Fannen said there is no threat to the public. The incident was reported around 1 p.m. and involved a 57-year-old female and a 65-year-old male. It is currently under investigation.
