City of Marshfield, Mo., remembers the victims of 9/11

MARSHFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – In Marshfield, the city hosted its annual “Marshfield Remembers” event at Patriot Park on Thursday night.

City workers placed 2,977 flags in the park, one for every person killed in the attacks.

“If we don’t share that story with our younger generations then eventually American will forget not only what happened on 9/11 but more importantly what it was like to wake up as an American on 9/12 and be bound together as people helping people,” said Mayor Natalie McNish…
