SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – The child enticement law has been updated to protect anyone 17 and under from adults attempting to manipulate them online. Previously, this only extended to children 15 and under.
Law enforcement agencies and child advocacy experts, like Katiina Dull, Executive Director of the Springfield Child Advocacy Center, said this update will help protect older teens better.
