OZARK, Mo. — A runner was bitten by a copperhead snake Friday, Sept. 19, on the Finley River Greenway Trail near the Ozark Career Center, according to the Ozark Police Department (OPD) in a social media post from the city.
Police and emergency crews responded after a 911 call. The runner was taken to a hospital and is expected to be OK, the city said.
