SPRINGFIELD — The City of Springfield will reopen the southern section of LeCompte Road at Division Street on Tuesday as part of its ongoing $3.2 million LeCompte Road Improvements Project.
City officials confirmed Friday that paving work on the south half of the project is complete. Signing and striping are scheduled for Monday, ahead of the road’s reopening to local traffic at Division Street.
At the same time, the project will move into its second phase, shifting the closure north to the railroad tracks near Kearney Street. Through traffic will continue to be detoured via U.S. Highway 65 between Division and Kearney streets…
