Community input sought for Grant Beach Park

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Grant Beach Neighborhood Association and the Springfield-Greene County Park Board are hosting a neighborhood event for the community to provide their input on possible improvements and goals for Grant Beach Park.

The session will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Weaver Elementary School on 1461 N. Douglas Ave. from 5-7 p.m.

The event will center on the Grant Beach Park survey, where residents, neighbors, and the general public can rate the park’s amenities and possible improvements, as well as share their dreams for the park, according to the Springfield-Greene County Park Board.
