Rescue One clinic risks closure

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Rescue One is in search of a veterinarian for their animal clinic. The animal rescue non-profit says their current vet is moving, and without a replacement, they will be forced to close the clinic until they find one.

In a Facebook post, Rescue One said they have helped thousands of animals through the clinic. The non-profit clarified that if a new vet is not found, Rescue One as a whole will continue operations, but they will be limited on what they can do without the clinic.

“The thought of closing is absolutely heartbreaking. For the last 5.5 years, this clinic has been saving lives every single day,” the post said. “It’s the reason we’re able to take in so many animals, handle emergency rescues, and even help 5 other organizations with their veterinary care.”…
