WEBSTER COUNTY, Mo. — The Missouri State Physics, Astronomy, and Materials Science Department will be opening to the public for observing nights at Baker Observatory.
On Friday, Sept. 26, from 8-10:30 p.m., Baker Observatory will allow event goers to use their telescopes to get a closer look at the galaxy. The observatory is located at 1766 Old Hillcrest Road in Fair Grove, approximately 10 miles northwest of Marshfield.
The following dates have been scheduled for public viewing. All dates are weather permitting.
- October 24, Time 7:30 p.m.-10 p.m.
- November 14, Time TBA
