SPRINGFIELD, MO – A restaurant chain is bringing a taste of the tropics here to the Ozarks.
Hawaiian Bros Island Grill has filed plans with the City of Springfield for a new eatery at 1272 E. Battlefield, just east of S. National Ave. The site, near Fremont Center, is currently occupied by an empty former Wendy’s. According to the plans, the Hawaiian Bros will renovate the building for its new restaurant.
