I-44 Corridor Weather Outlook: Storm Chances Early, Temps Drop Midweek

Springfield, MO – The National Weather Service in Springfield is forecasting scattered showers and thunderstorms early this week, mainly affecting areas southeast of the I-44 corridor.

According to the National Weather Service, storm chances increase Monday and Tuesday with a weak front expected to move through by Tuesday night. Daytime highs Monday may reach 80–86°F with a 20–40% chance of storms, while Tuesday’s temperatures cool slightly to the mid-70s and lower 80s before the front passes.
