Missouri Revolutionary War veteran honored with dedication

GREENE COUNTY, Mo. — A bronze patriot marker has been placed at the grave of Pvt. James Barham, who fought in the Revolutionary War before moving to Missouri.

The ceremony was held by the Rachel Donelson Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

“I took two planes to get here and drove quite some ways, but I’m leaving tomorrow,” Caroline Blackwell said. “I’ve been here for a few days and my dad lives here, so I visit Springfield when I can.”…
