UPDATE 10/16/25 2:40 p.m.: The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) has released new information following the fatal crash in Seymour from Thursday morning.
According to an MSHP crash report, a 58-year-old Seymour woman has died after a crash between a train and a truck around 10:54 a.m. on Box School Loop in Webster County.
The report states that the crash occurred as the woman drove a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado and failed to yield to a train. A 43-year-old Springfield man was driving a General Electric Gash 9-44CW when he struck the woman’s vehicle…
