SPRINGFIELD, MO – Fast-casual restaurant chain Chipotle Mexican Grill continues its expansion in the metro area. As the company prepares to open a new location, it is confirming plans for yet another one.
A Chipotle spokesperson tells Ozarks First it’s planning to build a new location on the north side at 2734 N. Kansas Expressway. The spot was home to a Golden Corral, which closed last year before being demolished.
Chipotle has already submitted building project plans to the city. Pending their approval, the company says it plans to start work on the store in the coming months and open sometime next year…
