LAWRENCE COUNTY, Mo. — A 45-year-old woman from Mount Vernon was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
At 4:30 a.m. Monday, a 2003 Acura TL sedan was eastbound on Route 174 two miles east of Mount Vernon when the car went off the left side of the road. The sedan then overcorrected, traveled off the other side of the road and ejected the driver, the MSHP crash report states.
Lawrence County man dies after police pursuit
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by the Lawrence County Coroner. The driver’s next of kin have been notified of her passing.
