Springfield will soon have another place to grab a quick burrito or rice bowl — this time with a drive-thru — as the newest Chipotle Mexican Grill location prepares to open.
The newest location, in the former Lucy’s Chinese Food location at 2456 E. Sunshine St., will open Tuesday, Oct. 28, according to a Chipotle news release. The location on the corner of Sunshine and Lone Pine Avenue will be open every day from 10:45 a.m. until 11 p.m.
This will also be the first location in Springfield with a “Chipotlane,” a drive-thru pick-up lane designated to allow customers to pick up digital orders without leaving their vehicles…
