PIERCE CITY, Mo. — Authorities confirm human remains were recovered from a house fire in Southwest Missouri.
According to a press release by the Pierce City Police Department, shared by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, the Pierce City Fire Department responded to a house fire at 303 North Myrtle Street on Saturday (10/25), at 8:37 p.m.
Authorities say multiple agencies were present at the scene, including the Pierce City Fire Department, the Pierce City Police Department, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
