BATTLEFIELD – Wire Road Brewing Company hosted the first ever “417 Food Truck Throwdown” Saturday.
Despite the rain, hundreds of people came out to enjoy the taste of 11 different food trucks from across the Ozarks. The event last eight hours Saturday at the brewery off of State Highway FF. In the video above, you can see some of the delicious food prepared for judges at the event.
The competition portion of the the event featured 6 judges trying a signature dish, and a dish infused with a beer from the Wire Road Brewery. Ozarks First News Anchor Jesse Inman was among the judges at the event. Other judges included Billy Dove (417 Foodist), Chris Louzader of 98.7 The Dove, Brandon “Chef Tiny” Moore of Retro Metro, Mike Slavych who owns Q66 BBQ, and Kristin Murphy (boudiefoodie).
