SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Jessica Royal and her husband were watching their daughter’s bird Benji while she was out of town, when disaster struck.
Jessica tells us, “he heard the dog getting sick and rushed to get him outside, forgetting that Benji was with us. As soon as he opened the door, he flew out and that was the first time it ever happened. We just panicked, honestly.”
Benji’s wing’s aren’t clipped so he got pretty far, pretty fast…
