SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Downtown Springfield saw some large crowds on Halloween night, with local businesses reporting record-breaking customer volumes.
Brooke Thomas, general manager at Harbell’s, a sports bar in downtown Springfield, said the Halloween celebration was exceptional compared to previous years.
“This is one of the craziest years I’ve seen,” said Thomas. “We always stock up, make sure that we’re set for the night. Of course, we were prepared, but we didn’t expect it to be that busy.”…
