SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -More than 3,000 runners from across the country and overseas took to the streets in Springfield Sunday morning.
It was part of Bass Pro’s Conservation Marathon. The marathon is handled by the outdoor retailer’s Fitness Series group.
The group manages events and programs for people of all ages and fitness levels in the Ozarks. The events, like this morning’s marathon, are not-for-profit. That means volunteers donate their time to run the show, and all proceeds collected go to local charities…
