Springfield man allegedly followed woman and toddler home from store, attempted kidnapping

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A Springfield man is accused of following a woman and her toddler to their home and attempting to drag the woman toward his vehicle after seeing her at Target.

Online court dockets state Joshua Allen York, born in 1995, has been charged with first-degree kidnapping — facilitating a felony — inflicting injury — terrorizing; first-degree stalking; and first-degree child endangerment.

The probable cause statement says the incident occurred when a woman and her 2-year-old son entered Target on East Primrose at about 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 15…
