Springfield Residents: City Now Accepting Proposals for Community Development Grant Funding

The City of Springfield is accepting proposals for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for fiscal year 2026-27. The funding comes from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). About $200,000 will be available for public service projects. The city will select projects through a competitive process. Organizations must submit proposals by noon on Friday, December 18, 2025.

The city will offer two technical assistance sessions for applicants. The first session is in person on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. in the 2West Conference Room of the Busch Municipal Building.
