SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Members of the Springfield community are mourning the death of Xavier Scott, who was found dead late Wednesday night inside an apartment at The 505 apartments in downtown Springfield.
Springfield police said Scott had a gunshot wound. A woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police spokesperson Cris Swaters.
