Cornerback Toriano Pride Jr. completed two of the weirdest plays one could imagine in a single game. There was some sort of magic happening at Faurot Field on Saturday night, and he harnessed it.
Both plays could be considered game-altering, and became major swings in Missouri’s 49-27 win over Mississippi State Saturday in its final home game of the season.
The strangeness started on a field goal attempt from the Bulldogs. As they took the snap with 5:03 remaining in the first quarter, the ball bounced off the thigh of Mississippi State’s holder and across the field.
