JOPLIN, Mo. (KOAM) — Late Tuesday afternoon Billings Fire responded to a serious crash involving a wrecker that had overturned in Lawrence County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol report reveals, “Occurred as [wrecker] traveled off the roadway to avoid an oncoming vehicle and struck a utility pole [overturned].”
The driver was a young man from Webb City, Mo., Matthew Hendrix. We are told he remains in a Joplin ICU, recovering from traumatic injuries…
