$3.8 million Chadwick Flyer bridge to enhance Ozark’s economy

OZARK, Mo. — Crews on Wednesday night were installing the second of two bridge spans that will carry the Chadwick Flyer Trail over U.S. 65, a project city leaders say will serve as a major gateway into Ozark.

Work was expected to continue between 10:30 p.m. and midnight as crews placed the final span over the northbound lanes of the highway. Community members have expressed strong anticipation for the bridge’s completion, according to city officials.

“People move to Ozark because of the trails we have? Definitely river, things like that. So again, just no great thing for us citizens to have enjoyed,” said Mayor Donor Currence…
