SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The southwest corner of Springfield is in the midst of a construction surge, with a wave of new businesses opening and more on the way.
Dutch Bros Coffee, which opened earlier this month, is the latest addition to the growing commercial area near West Sunshine Street and West Bypass. It joins a series of developments that have rapidly transformed a part of the city that previously saw limited growth.
Just today on Thursday, Nov. 20, Wendy’s opened a new location nearby. It adds to a lineup of restaurants that launched this year, including Jersey Mike’s, Whataburger, Chick-fil-A and Springfield’s second Olive Garden…
