Missouri pedestrian fatalities up 16% from 2023 to 2024

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Crashes involving pedestrians in the city of Springfield have recently sparked concerns over pedestrian safety.

In 2024, Missouri saw a record high year when it comes to pedestrian fatalities in the state. At 148, it was a 16% increase from 2023.
