A Taste of Sunshine Before the Next Soaker

After a rainy stretch of days, it was nice to finish today on such a sunny note. Clouds were able to part, with temperatures warming up to near-record levels once again. Unfortunately, the warmth won’t be sticking around.

Another round of soggy weather marches in tonight. Clouds will begin to increase after sundown as temperatures cool. While the bulk of the rainfall is over, light showers and mist will still be possible overnight and into the start of the day Saturday.

Overcast skies with sprinkles and mist await Saturday morning. Thankfully, we’ll clear out quickly once again. Clouds will erode from north to south throughout the day. By the time the afternoon arrives, most locations will enjoy sunny skies with temperatures in the 50s.

Sunday is my pick day of the weekend. Sunshine will linger for most of the day, accompanied by slightly warmer temperatures. Expect highs to reach the mid-60s.

The break from the rain won’t last long. A low-pressure system from the south will bring another wave of wet weather overnight Sunday and through much of Monday. Severe weather is not expected. Additionally, most locations will fall short of 1 inch of precipitation, with the heaviest totals occurring south of Highway 60.

A major cooldown is still set to arrive for the Thanksgiving holiday. Highs will be stuck in the 40s for your Turkey Day, with overnight temperatures dropping below freezing…
