SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Thousands of veterans’ graves at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery-Springfield may not receive wreaths this Christmas.
Each year, members of the Springfield community donate wreaths to put on veterans’ gravestones. So far, only 4,000 wreaths out of 10,000 have been donated.
The deadline to order is fast approaching at midnight on Thanksgiving Day.
