SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Springfield lost a music legend 52 years ago this month. But his legacy will live on. The family of Will James donated some 25 pages of his sheet music to the State Historical Society of Missouri.
James grew up in a musical family and moved to Springfield around 1910. For nearly 40 years, he ran the Will James Music Service on East McDaniel.
