As the year came to an end, we reflected on what has been an unusual and challenging year. Severe weather brought more physical and financial damage than in previous years, creating stress and additional work for many neighbors. But they also revealed something beautiful: renewed community spirit and neighborly compassion.
Life can get so busy that we forget to live. Let’s continue building on the good we’ve seen this year — pausing, appreciating, and enjoying the simple blessings of family, friendship, and community.
