GREENE COUNTY, Mo. – One person was seriously injured this morning on U.S. 65 north of Springfield when struck by a vehicle while attempting to remove debris from the highway.
According to Missouri Highway Patrol Sgt. Mike McClure, the incident occurred in the southbound lanes of 65 at the 59.4 mile marker.
The injured person was transported to a local hospital. An investigation of the accident continues, McClure said…
