A 53-year-old woman from Buffalo was seriously injured Dec. 1 as she walked along U.S. 65.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the woman, who was not identified in an online report, was walking on or near the northbound lanes of U.S. 65, 4.5 miles north of Springfield, when she was hit by a 2017 Toyota Tundra.
The Toyota was driven by a 45-year-old man from Nixa, who also was not notified. He was able to drive the vehicle, which had minimal damage, from the scene…
