Spokane School District leaders uncover what led to a false intruder warning on November 19

SPOKANE, Mo. (KY3) – Spokane School District leaders say a panic switch that had not been reset led to a false intruder warning on November 19.

It happened around 11 a.m. at the Spokane Little Owls Learning Center. Investigators say they received an alert of an active shooter alarm going off on phones. However, there had been no reports of any intruders.

District leaders believe a power surge triggered the switch. They have now tested and reset all panic switches…
