LAKE WALES, Fl. — A Nixa man was a critical part of the international team that successfully shattered an 18-year-old world record in the extreme sport of canopy formation (CF) skydiving last month.
Mark Anderson, a South Springfield native who has called Nixa home for the last 20 years, was among 104 elite skydivers who linked their parachutes mid-air over Lake Wales, Florida, to create the largest Canopy Relative Work (CRW) formation ever recorded.
