Salvation Army sets $923,000 goal for Christmas campaign

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – The Salvation Army of Springfield has set a $923,000 goal for its Christmas campaign.

The campaign includes a $225,000 goal for its annual Red Kettle Campaign. KY3 helped with that campaign last week at Bass Pro Shops.

All funds raised by the Army this winter will directly support the agency’s mission to provide essential services. Those services include its emergency shelter, food pantry, after-school childcare, and Christmas assistance for families in the Ozarks…
