SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Christmas is nearly two weeks away, and this week, you can help Santa out.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at CoxHealth is hosting its first-ever Fill the Sleigh Drive-Thru Toy Drive. The effort aims to help kids receiving care at the hospital during the holidays. Christmas looks different when you’re in the hospital rather than at home, so donors can help brighten young patients’ holidays in a meaningful way.
“People don’t even have to get out of their cars,” said Carla Wade of Children’s Miracle Network. “We’ll have little elves running around and getting the items for them and give them little thank yous as well, so all they have to do is get an item drive-through, and we take care of the rest.”…
