SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at CoxHealth is holding its first-ever Fill the Sleigh Drive-Thru Toy Drive.
The effort aims to help kids in the hospital during the holidays. Each gift will bring comfort, joy and a sense of normalcy to kids spending the holidays in a hospital bed instead of at home. Many people have stopped by to help brighten young patients’ holidays in a meaningful way.
“I’m hoping they’ll have a Merry Christmas and they’ll realize people care for them and care about them and are willing to donate, let them have a Merry Christmas,” said Janice Gorman. “There really is a Santa Claus.”…
