SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – The Forward SGF Comprehensive Plan looks at the city of Springfield as a whole and how it can improve over the next several years. But if a new bill coming to the city council is passed, smaller plans could be coming to support that.
The bill will have its first reading on December 15. It would give $500,000 to the planning department and $500,000 to the parks department to create individualized improvement plans for those neighborhoods and parks. The $1 million comes from the Spring Forward half-cent sales tax.
